Harry and Rita Patten, through the Patten Family Foundation, made a gift to Vets Helping Heroes to fund the training for two service dogs that will be placed with Veterans. The dogs are named PATTEN and WILLIE (in honor of Rita's mother).
The mission of Vets Helping Heroes is to honor our injured military heroes and restore a sense of independence through the thoughtful planning and lifetime placement of trained service and guide dogs.
